Created by the TALI Education Fund, this textbook about Jewish Peoplehood has both English and Hebrew versions. It introduces students from Israel and around the world to the history, lifestyle and values of various Diaspora communities, including an exploration of the way in which they relate to the State of Israel, the people of Israel, and Jewish identity. With programs in both Hebrew and English, the curriculum aims to strengthen the connection between Israel and Diaspora Jewish communities through a unique learning experience. To see a complete teacher’s guide in Hebrew and English and an accompanying slideshow, or to purchase the books click here (English) and here (Hebrew). TALI, a Hebrew acronym for “Enriched Jewish Studies,” provides a pluralistic Jewish Studies program focused on Jewish heritage and identity to more than 12% of all secular public schools in Israel.
