In 1994, then-Foreign Minister Peres was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize along with Prime Minister <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Yitzhak_Rabin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yitzhak Rabin<\/a> and PLO leader <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Yasser_Arafat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yasser Arafat<\/a> for their collective efforts to attain peace through negotiation.
